I started to read this book at night and ended up staying up half the night because I couldn't put it down. Most books make you drozy after a while, but, not this one. Finished it in a day. Very riveting especially knowing it is a true story. I highly recommend this book.
The Pastor has more than he anticipated with this married couple.
People make mistakes, pretty bad choices and don't take into account how it could effect others close to them... This book is an extreme of things that actually happen in our world.
I would recommend this book.
Murder in the Church is one of those books you can't put down until you turn the last page. It's a powerful story that I will never forget!
Warning Do not start reading this book in the evening. You will not get much sleep that night because you will want to finish the whole book before you go to bed. I had to force myself to put it down at 0430 in the morning.
Extremely well written and captivating story. Presents one of the most difficult challenges a church can face.
The lesson at the end was a little long, but provided insight I was glad to read. All church goers would benefit from reading this!
This book had me hooked within the first 2 pages. I could not put it down. I'm suprised no one has made a movie about this yet. There are a lot of life lessons in here too. I highly recommend this book to anyone, whether or not they go to church. It is not a book specifically for Christians, but for anyone who loves a good mystery...great book!
This book is a must read! I had ample amounts of feelings rushing through me as I read this book! I am the wife of a pastor, so I could relate to the feelings he describes as there are so many people that need assistance daily from their local pastors(and the pastor's family) I get that same feeling upon looking at the clock when the phone rings... it truly does show just how important following God is, and having a relationship with Him! It was a reminder that sin is ever so present and can only be avoided by walking as close to Christ as we can! We need to remember, God allows bad things to happen, He isn't the cause of them, sin is!!
